Huang Yida—The new voice of Chinese pop’

Ask anyone self-respecting Chinese pop fan who Yida is and that’s the answer you’d probably get.

This 24-year-old entertainer from Singapore is making headlines all over Asia for his unique rustic vocals and his breakthrough single ‘Blue Sky’. Known for his ability to compose a song with his guitar in two minutes flat, he has also displayed his song-writing skills for many big names in Asia.

Yida’s debut album “Huang Yida” has since achieved double platinum sales in Asia and garnered numerous music award nominations, most notably ‘Best Newcomer’, and ‘Best local music composition’ at the Singapore Hit Awards—an annual ceremony that pays tribute to the best music entertainers in Asia.

Yida was introduced to the guitar at the tender age of 15 and is constantly working to refine his compositions and playing technique. シンガポール出身の 24 歳となるこのシンガーは、その素朴な声で歌ったシングル『Blue Sky』をもってアジア各地で現在大ブレイクを記録中。ギター一本で作曲する彼の才能は、アジアで大きな注目を浴びています。

Yida のデビューアルバム『Huang Yida』は、アジアにてダブルプラチナムを記録、数々のミュージックアウォードにノミネートされた他、アジア最高の音楽エンターテイナーを決定する年間セレモニー「シンガポールヒットアウォード」にて、「ベストニューカマー」賞と「ベストローカルコンポジション」賞に輝いています。

Huang Yida – La nueva voz del pop en China

Si le preguntan a cualquier fan de la música pop en China por Yida, lo más seguro es que esa sea su respuesta.

Este artista de 24 años, nacido en Singapur, está haciendo olas en Asia por su distintiva y penetrante voz, evidente en su exitoso sencillo “Blue Sky”. Conocido por componer canciones con su guitarra en un par de minutos, también ha contribuido con muchos artistas importantes en Asia.

Su álbum debut, “Huang Yida”, ha alcanzado ventas que le han ameritado dos discos de platino en Asia, además de varias nominaciones a premios, incluyendo “Mejor Artista Nuevo” y “Mejor Composición de Música Local” en los “Singapore Hit Awards”, una ceremonia anual que rinde tributo a los mejores artistas en Asia.
