The
"younger brother" of Stefanie Sun, Huang Yi Da is an up and coming singer with
potential that's just bursting to get out. In fact, having won the Most
Promising New Local Artiste award at the Singapore Hit Awards in 2004, his star
has been rising ever since.
Adament from a young age that he wanted to be
a singer, Yi Da joined the Lee Wei Song School Of Music when he was 15 after
dropping out of school. So sure he was of his path in life, and so determined,
he even took a year off to study the piano on his own. His perseverence won him
the notice of the recording companies, and before long he had his debut album,
Undefined.
With two albums to his name now and hit songs such as "Blue
Sky" and "My Anonymous Babe," Yi Da has won numerous other awards from Taiwan,
Hong Kong, and mainland China as well.
